ProWess wins major trademark action against Apple re "Pod" |

In a world precedent, ProWess Sports successfully defended it’s use of the STATSPOD trademark and was awarded costs. In a recent Trade Marks decision, it was ruled that STATSPOD was not substantially similar to Apple Computer Inc’s trade mark “IPOD” allowing ProWess to register it’s trademark for use. |

Congratulations and well done to following fantastic teams : Geelong Cats – 2007 AFL Premiers Geelong Cats – 2007 VFL Premiers Subiaco – 2007 WAFL Back-to-Back Premiers  In 2007, the mighty Cats won it all and ProWess Sports are proud to have been a part of their success with our coaching, stats and digital video analysis systems. Geelong were dedicated and extensive users of our technology and although it is still dependant on performance on the field, it is pleasing to know that their preparation was helped by our systems.
Other finalists to use Prowess software include the Coburg, Sandringham, Williamstown, Claremont, Woodville and amongst many others. Canberra based clubs Eastlake and Queanbeyan have also tasted finals action this year while benefiting from the system.
