GAME MODULE

New accelerator keys have been added for the game functions normally found on the dialog buttons so that the keyboard can be used for some actions.

The allowed keys are:

Key Function
b Blocked shot
c Start/Stop clock (also in previous versions)
j Jump Ball
m Made button
p Putback button
s Steal
t Turnover

Game module printing for the box score, leaders, detailed team report lineup analysis and game programs has been changed to a new theory to try to solve some of the font size problems in previous versions. The program is now set to generally work with a font size of 12 points. Changing the font size down or UP will change the size of the report.

Several minor fixes have been made:

The clock will now say "End of Game" instead of "Start New Period" when loading an xisting complete game.

Pressing "End of Game" will clear out any stray end of game event in the event list.

The order for Illegal defence warnings and technicals in the event editor has been fixed.

The "made" button will now save the game file when the save mode is set to full autosave.

For alternating possessions the possession arrow now waits for the clock to start before changing directions after a jump ball is selected.

A new menu item has been added to the During Game menu to support the recording of dead ball rebounds. When a rebound is prompted you can select the menu item to record
the rebound as a dead ball rebound. The help file has also been updated to include a section on dead ball rebounds.

The game clock has been adjusted to be closer to proper running time.

For the pro game, team fouls now reset on each quarter and offensive fouls are not counted as team fouls.

The case where officials names are blank after using Game Setup has been fixed.

The indications for editing putbacks in the action editor have been cleared up. Pressing the Putback Attempt button will change an event to a putback attempt and pressing Made will
change the putback attempt into a made putback.

A problem where setting the 20 second timeouts on a per half basis did not reset at the half has been fixed.

SESSION MODULE

Charges taken has been added to the season box score report.

The individual defensive lineup analysis had the wrong player name associated with the statistics.

The Individual box score report did not handle cases where the team name was missing. The field now uses the "Use School Names for Headers" preference added in V4.0.4.

Changed the HTML export font size for the Season Summary and Season Box score to a smaller size. This makes the season box score more compatible with the game box scores. The smaller font size makes viewing on most web browsers more compatible with the screen size

MANUAL GAME MODULE

The same report logic for printing size that is in the game module has been added to the manual game module.

HTML export of a box score will have the proper score by quarters.

The minutes played field was made slightly larger to avoid the display of #### instead of the proper values.

LEAGUE MODULE
The individual leaders by average and normalized totals were reversed in the print dialog and have been straightened out.
GAME VIEWER
Playing time will not have the right totals in the box score.
TOURNAMENT MODULE
Corrected sorting on Individual Leaders report when displaying individual averages. Fixed a GPF when exporting Tournament Leader reports
to HTML.
ALL MODULES
A bug was fixed when entering a team roster and then deleting a player. This would cause all of the player information to be lost.

Version 4.0.4 is an update which contains several minor bug fixes and enhancements to all of the basketball modules.
ALL MODULES
Team player edit now includes home and away numbers. A new preference was added under the Reports tab called "Use School Names for Headers". This preference will change some heading titles to use the school or city name instead of the team name or nickname. This change is most obvious in the season module and the Season Box score and Season Summary reports.
GAME MODULE
Roster and Game programs now include player position.
Occasional "extra" shot markers cleaned up.
Font size adjusted for detailed team report and box
score when the printing larger rosters of players.
Fixed an occasional fault when printing the Individual
