ChartMate PRO is the mobile charting package that can be used courtside to record the point details of each player or it can also be used to collect  information from video footage at the coach or players convenience.

Match data and reports can be viewed interactively on the screen or if download to a PC with a printer,  printed using the software module ChartPC.  Chart PC offers even greater levels of analysis than can be viewed on:

PC Desktop Printing and Database

This module is the desktop/notebook PC based software module that “docks” all remotely recorded Chartmate data into a central relational database, so reports can easily be previewed and printed  on your desktop printer. This database is your central repository for remotely collected data.

It is designed to give you the option to selectively print reports individually or as a group based on entered parameters such as player, venue, surface,  conditions, etc.

You can also browse the charted data in detail by match totals or individual sets for a selected match or players.

 

 

Statistics & Video Analysis with DVCoach  

Visual re-inforcement is one of the most powerful coaching tools available. The DVCoach suite of programs provides efficient and simple back-office processing of video footage that would normally be done manually. It is an ideal compliment to the versatility and convenience of Chartmate Pro, giving you the ability to import the timecoded charted data and align it with the video of the match and with minimal effort make video highlights immediately.

Depending on your available equipment and software configuration, this video footage can be processed and viewed in various formats including CD-ROM, VHS, MPEG, DivX or AVI.

Once the events are imported onto the PC and aligned, making batch edits (ie. grouping areas of interest) of any scenario is possible such as:

Faults/Double Faults

All points at a particular stage (eg. 30-30, advantage points, break points, etc)

All groundstrokes of a particular type (eg forehand winners)

All netplays of a particular type (eg backhand volley errors)

Crucial factors/Errors (eg execution errors)

The above information can be sorted by player, 1st/2nd Serve, point outcome, etc, etc……

Effectively ANY request can be made and the corresponding video footage can be displayed in a batch (one after other), without any major effort. Each transaction record is timecoded, which allows accurate video editing to be done. And to further enhance the system you can also use the Scoresheet to record even more detailed information right down to every stroke played. This can only be achieved using the back-office system when directly linked to the video footage and can increase the information gained eg how a point was setup.

Additionally coaches can add their own notes and commentary (voice over) at various stages of the match. Notes can be printed out with the statistical reports if necessary.

The unique way that data can be distributed means that the charted information can be easily exchanged between players and coaches via the internet and other remote communications.

Transaction Event DV Analyser

The transaction processing viewer allows you to accept, import and video align Chartmate Pro transactions, align them with the supplied video tape or DVD and then analyse the database in a number of different ways.

You simply enter the parameters via a series of simple dropdown lists and options and then either play the events individually or one after the other in a batch. For example, you can ask the system to show you all of the aces that a player served during the match. 

The system will then compile a list of the aces and you can choose to select one of these and view it, or, ask the system to show you each of the aces as they occurred. There is no limit to the permutations and combinations available.

You can view the footage at different speeds (even frame by frame) and immediately without the delay you find with traditional linear video tape. As all match data is discretely stored, any match can be recalled later and if the video footage is still available, you can refer to any events without extra work.
