Note: that the AustPro version has some subtle differences to the US version and file formats and game files are NOT compatible, so you cannot mix and match game files.

ProCYB Custom Webcasting

The Pro_CYB NBL Stats WebCasting module is designed provide a seamless and direct feed of selective statistics from the Official NBL Cybersports game module.

In simple terms, the process is as follows:
  • Statistics are enter into the Cybersports Game module as the match progresses
  • Pro_CYB is loaded in the background, polling the Cybersports for any new transaction records
  • If there are any found it “re-manufactures” in an ASCII text form that can be transmitted to the host WEB site directory
  • The “re-manufactured” data is sent in packets of files every few seconds as data is available (via FTP utility)
  • The FOXSports WEB host utility receives the files and promptly flags as acknowledged and then moves them to an update directory where they are updated on the live scoreboard database.
  • The delay in updating and processing means that the scores will be approx 30 seconds behind the actual result.
The normal polling interval is either 20 seconds but can be change at any stage. Manual modifications of the stats may also be done to override any “errors” in transmission.

DVCoach Compatible!

If you are using AustPro and your coaching staff want to do some advanced digital video analysis then ask us about the unique link to our leading edge product DVCoach will save you hours in front of the video equipment!

ProWess provides some additional but exclusive functionality available to DVCoach uses that allows the coaches, analysts and statisticians to utilise Cybersports play by play data from within DVCoach to quickly create edited highlights of any recorded events by the courside statisticians.

This means that coaches can immediately formulate edits such as team turnovers, rebounding, fouls or violation. Alternatively the coach could focus and filter on a specific players game...

As long as the transactions are relatively timecode accurate and the digital video is captured then you simply:

  1. Import using the Cyb Wizard
  2. Align the tranactions
  3. Create your edit lists
Coaches can add their own interpretations and events on top of what has been entered during the game such as team rules, positives/negatives, offensive and defensive set plays, etc

It’s as easy as 1,2,3…

The main benefit to the coaches is the time-saving of not having to re-enter statistics that have already been logged by courtside statisticians. Coaches can totally analyse the game on digital video instantly which is a huge benefit for team and player development.

The real power of this feature comes into play when used for forward scouting, season highlights, player development and strategic analysis.

Our Upgrade & Replacement Policy

ProWess is the exclusive Aust/NZ Cybersports distributor and has an obligation to market, sell and support only the latest versions of Cybersports. What follows are a few pertinent points in consideration of any situation that requires replacement  or upgrade of any Cybersports or ProWess software:

  • The current version available for purchase or upgrade is only 4.4 and officially any earlier version cannot be supplied.
  • Versions prior to 4.3 were provided on floppy disk ProWess cannot support or replace any more
  • Game (BBG) files created in version 4.4 are not compatible with earlier versions of the program
  • If a user damages, loses or misplaces their original setup files or disks for the software, it can only be replaced with the same version. If that said version is not available, then the only option is to upgrade.
  • For convenience and efficiency, ProWess Sports have moved to a controlled downloadable setup rather than floppy disk (since new PC’s are less likely to have floppy disks)
  • Note that the original program designed with a floppy disk installation was intended to be installed and uninstalled with the main floppy disk as the security key.
  • Needless to say, it is the clients sole responsibility to backup and secure the programs and data in case of any computer disaster.
  • The warranty for the product expires after 90 days from date of purchase and is not lifetime warranty.
  • Any US version is fundamentally different and incompatible to any version released in Australia (even though looks similar) and although ProWess can order it, we primarily deal with the AustPro version.
  • The most important difference is that AustPro version specifically allows interfaces to 3rd party systems.
  • Be aware that there is no effective cross-grade from AustPro to US version (or vice versa) but rather only purchase of a new licence.
  • Any user may purchase the US version at the lower price however it will need to be supported from US and secondly it will not be compatible with your existing game files.
  • The licence is only valid for users for the same club/team, ie licencing is not intended to be “shared” between clubs and is not transferrable without written permission from ProWess Sports and Cybersports.
  • As per licence, up to 4 installs are permitted but no more. If a user requires further installs then either they need to uninstall back to same floppy disk or need to purchase another licence.
  • All new software installs of Cybersports are secured with an unlock registration key that is specific to the computer.
  • For downloadable versions, ProWess Sports retains a detailed database of all registered users and their unlock key numbers
  • If the program needs to be re-installed on same computer, the same unlock key number can be used
  • If a user wishes to transfer to another computer, it needs to be done as a written request to ProWess Sports
