 StatsMaster provides teams with an innovative AFL stats/video solution for a decisive competitive edge.  The StatsMaster edge can be found in the flexibility of its event and transaction types. Although a standard AFL stats template is provided, with StatsMaster , event types are totally configurable by the user and unlike other programs, StatsMaster allows multiple criteria or qualifiers for an event to be described. For example, a kick could be the primary event, and the team & player as a qualifier, location as the second qualifier, and then the kick type as another qualifier (eg. Long, Short, Ground) etc or for a mark it can be qualified contested and inside 50.
Once the event and qualifier structure is defined it can be re-used as a template for all games. Events can be easily logged in real time during the game, (with or without digital video being captured at the same time), or after the game, either capturing the video at the same time or using pre captured video.
StatsMaster has the option of importing or exporting data from 3rd party applications, either during or after the game, subject to the capabilities of the other application. For importing, it could be from a real time stats logging programs sourced from a central service or even a PDA. This eliminates the need to re-enter data and all you need to do is a video capture and timecode align to get instant results.
